# Terms of Service

**Last updated: 7 November 2026**

These terms are the agreement between you and us about using Hunting Game. Where the law gives you rights as a consumer, nothing here takes them away.

If you already had an account before this date, the changes to sections 3, 5 and 15, and the matching changes to the Community Guidelines and to section 14 of the End User Licence Agreement, apply to you 30 days after we tell you about them in the app. Until then the previous versions apply to you; ask us if you want a copy.

They work together with the [Privacy Policy](https://www.hunting-game.com/privacy-policy) (your data), the [Community Guidelines](https://www.hunting-game.com/legal/community-guidelines) (how to behave) and the [End User Licence Agreement](https://www.hunting-game.com/legal/eula) (the app software).

> ## If you buy Hunting Game Pro
>
> **Pro renews automatically and charges you again at the end of each period until you cancel. If you start with a free trial, it turns into a paid subscription at its end unless you cancel before then.**
>
> You cancel in your Apple or Google account, not in Hunting Game. On Apple, cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends. On Google Play, cancel any time before the renewal date.
>
> The price, the length of each period and any trial are shown before you pay. Section 8 has the details.

## 2. What Hunting Game is

Hunting Game is a real-world chase game played with your phone. **Chasers** try to catch **runners** using GPS. Runners try not to be caught. In Family mode, **referees** see every player during the game, can remove a player from it, and can end it by naming the winning team.

The game creator is the **host**. The host chooses the mode (Manhunt, Family or Hide and Seek) and the rules, can draw a **play zone** (the area you play in) with Pro, and can remove a player from the lobby before the game starts. The removed account cannot join that game again.

To play you need a phone that the App Store or Google Play lets you install Hunting Game on, location permission, and an internet connection, usually mobile data.

These terms cover the Hunting Game app for iPhone, iPad and Android, the Apple Watch app, the app's widgets, Live Activities, iMessage app and other system features, our servers, and hunting-game.com.

## 3. Who can use it

**You must be at least 13.** At first sign-in you give your date of birth and accept these terms. We do not verify your age.

If you are under 18, you need the agreement of a parent or guardian to use Hunting Game. They decide whether, where and when you play. Do not buy Pro without their agreement.

## 4. Your account

You sign in with Apple, with Google, or with a code sent to your email address. Keep your phone and your sign-in secure. What happens through your account is treated as done by you, unless someone got in through no fault of yours.

If you still have an old guest account and sign in with Apple, Google or email, everything on it moves across.

## 5. Safety: please read this

Hunting Game sends you out to run around in the real world. That is the fun, and it is also the risk. **You decide where, when and how you play, and you are responsible for your own safety and for following the law and local rules.** The app does not check whether a place is safe or whether you are allowed to be there. If you host or organise a game for others, choose the area and the rules with care.

- **Never play while driving, cycling or doing anything else that needs your attention.**
- **Look where you are going.** The map does not show traffic, water, drops, or people.
- **Do not trespass**, do not go onto private property or into closed areas, and do not break the law to win. That includes hiding places in Hide and Seek.
- **Catch with the code, not your hands.** A catch is a code typed into the app. Never tackle, push, grab or trip anyone.
- **Leave people who are not playing alone.** Do not chase, grab or scare anyone, and stop if someone asks you to.
- **Know your limits.** Running is exercise: take breaks, drink water, and do not play if you are unwell. Agree on a meeting point and an end time.
- **Players under 18** should agree with a parent where and when they play, and should not play alone or after dark.
- **Hunting Game is not a way to watch over anyone.** What a referee, host or spectator sees can be wrong, late or missing, and it stops when a phone loses signal or battery. It does not replace the supervision children and groups need.
- **GPS is approximate.** Positions, distances, directions and play zone warnings can be wrong, late or missing. Never rely on Hunting Game for navigation, for safety or in an emergency. In an emergency, call 112 or your local emergency number.

**Your location is shared with the other players in your game, and anyone with the game's join code can watch the game on our website without an account.** The website shows no positions before the head start ends and none in Hide and Seek. After that, it shows each player only as the other team sees them: runners where the chasers last saw them, and chasers when the runners can see them (section 4.1 of the Privacy Policy). Only play with people you are happy to share your location with, and only give the code to them.

## 6. How you may behave

The full rules are in the [Community Guidelines](https://www.hunting-game.com/legal/community-guidelines). In short: do not harass, threaten or abuse anyone; do not pretend to be someone else; do not cheat, fake your GPS position or use bots; do not attack or overload the service; and do not misuse other players' personal information or location.

## 7. Your content, and how we moderate it

**Your content.** Your display name, profile photo and chat messages are yours, and you are responsible for them. You confirm you have the right to use them. You allow us to store, copy, send and show them only as far as needed to run Hunting Game, keep it secure and enforce these terms. That permission ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies in backups we cannot yet reach (section 6 of the Privacy Policy).

**Profile photos are at web addresses without a password.** Anyone with the address can see the photo.

**How moderation works.** We do not read chat and do not filter it automatically. In the lobby, the host can remove a player, and that account then cannot join that game again; during a game, a referee can remove a player. Everything we do ourselves is done by a person, not by an algorithm.

**Reporting content or behaviour.** If you see something on Hunting Game that breaks these terms or the law, email **contact@hunting-game.com** with "Report" in the subject. Tell us:

- what you saw, and why you think it breaks the rules or the law;
- where: the game's join code, roughly when, and the display name involved;
- how we can reach you (unless you report child sexual abuse material, which you may do anonymously);
- that you believe in good faith that what you report is accurate and complete.

We confirm we received it, look at it without undue delay, and tell you what we decided and why. Reports made in bad faith may lead to action against the person reporting.

**What we may do.** In proportion to what happened: warn you, remove content, reset a display name or photo, or, for serious or repeated breaches, close your account.

**We tell you why.** If we act against your content or account, we tell you what we did, what it concerned, the facts we relied on, which rule was broken, that a person decided, and how to challenge it.

**Challenging a decision.** Reply to our message, or email contact@hunting-game.com within 6 months. A person looks at it again, free of charge, and if we got it wrong we put it right. You can also go to court, or use the out-of-court route in section 15.

**Serious harm.** If we learn of anything suggesting a crime that threatens someone's life or safety, we tell the police or judicial authorities.

## 8. Hunting Game Pro, coins and payments

**What Pro includes.** The Pro screen in the app shows what Pro includes at the moment you buy. Currently:

- **For games you host:** more players (up to 100), Hide and Seek, play zones (including shrinking ones), and power-ups that you set for each team. Everyone in your game gets these, whether they have Pro or not.
- **For you:** more XP per game, extra map styles, and bigger daily bonus rewards.

Without Pro you can play every role in Manhunt and Family mode, with up to 4 players per game.

**We are not the shop.** Apple sells Pro in the App Store and Google sells it in Google Play. They take payment, send the receipt and handle refunds. We never see your card details.

**Plans, price and renewal.** Pro is a monthly or yearly subscription. The price, the period, any free trial and the renewal terms are shown before you confirm. The subscription renews and charges you automatically until you cancel.

**How to cancel.** On iPhone or iPad: Settings → your name → Subscriptions (at least 24 hours before the period ends). On Android: Google Play → your profile → Payments and subscriptions → Subscriptions (before the renewal date). You keep Pro until the end of the period you paid for. **Deleting your Hunting Game account does not cancel Pro.**

**Your right to change your mind.** As an EU consumer you have 14 days to withdraw from a purchase made online. Pro starts straight away. Apple and Google handle the payment, so you withdraw through them: [reportaproblem.apple.com](https://reportaproblem.apple.com) for Apple, or the order in your Google Play account for Google. Email us if you need help.

**If Hunting Game or Pro does not work as it should.** You have a legal guarantee that Hunting Game, free or with Pro, matches what we described and works as you can reasonably expect. If it does not, tell us and we will fix it. If we cannot fix it in reasonable time, or fixing it would cause you real trouble, you may end the contract, and for Pro you are entitled to a lower price or an appropriate refund. These rights are free and come on top of anything Apple or Google offer.

**Updates.** For as long as you have Pro, we supply the updates needed to keep it working as described.

**Refunds from us.** Where these terms promise a refund of unused Pro time, we will ask Apple or Google to refund it, and if they do not, we pay it back to you ourselves.

**Coins and the daily bonus.** You earn coins by playing (for winning and levelling up), from the daily bonus, and as a reward for some surveys. You spend them on power-ups. Coins are not money: you cannot buy them, cash them out or transfer them, and they are not refundable. The daily bonus gives a random reward each day (XP, coins or a power-up), and Pro members get bigger rewards. It costs nothing to claim. If we ever stop coins, we give reasonable notice and a fair chance to spend them.

## 9. Changing these terms

We may change these terms for a good reason: a change in the law, in how Hunting Game works, a new feature, security, or a change at our suppliers.

If a change affects you in more than a small way, we tell you in the app at least **30 days** before it takes effect and say what changes. If you do not accept it, you can stop using Hunting Game and delete your account before then, and get back what you paid for any unused Pro time.

If you keep playing after a change takes effect, the new terms apply to you, but only for changes we told you about this way. For a change that would make you pay more or take away a Pro feature you paid for, we ask for your agreement first; if you do not agree, you can end Pro and get back what you paid for the unused part.

## 10. Changing the game

Hunting Game is a live game: we add modes and power-ups, rebalance rules and remove features that do not work.

We will not substantially reduce what you paid for during a period you already paid for without a valid reason. If a change seriously affects your use of Pro, we tell you at least 30 days in advance, and you may end the subscription and get back what you paid for the unused part.

Features marked experimental or beta may be unstable and may disappear.

## 11. Stopping

**You** can stop any time. Delete your account in Settings or at [hunting-game.com/account/delete](https://www.hunting-game.com/account/delete). Cancel Pro separately with Apple or Google.

**We** may close your account if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, if needed to protect other players or the service, or if the law requires it. Unless the breach is too serious or the law prevents it, we tell you first, say why, and give you a chance to put it right.

If we stop providing Hunting Game to you for any other reason, we give at least **30 days'** notice and refund any unused Pro time.

When your account ends, your data is deleted as described in the [Privacy Policy](https://www.hunting-game.com/privacy-policy).

## 12. What we promise, and what we do not

We provide Hunting Game with reasonable care and skill, and as described.

We cannot promise it will always be available, uninterrupted or free of errors, or that GPS positions, distances and directions will be accurate. It runs over mobile networks and satellite positioning, and both fail sometimes.

## 13. Responsibility for damage

**Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our fault or that of people acting for us, for fraud, for intentional or gross fault, or for anything else the law does not let us limit.** For consumers, that includes the legal guarantee of conformity and product liability.

Within that, we are responsible for loss you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or not using reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for loss that was not foreseeable, or caused by something outside our reasonable control.

We are not responsible for what other players or spectators do, or for where and how you choose to play, unless our own fault contributed to the harm. Apple and Google provide the app stores, payments and sign-in to you under their own terms. We remain responsible, as the law requires, for the companies that work for us (our [subprocessors](https://www.hunting-game.com/legal/subprocessors)).

**Nothing in this section affects your rights as a consumer under the law of the country where you live.**

## 14. Ownership

Your right to install and use the app comes from the [End User Licence Agreement](https://www.hunting-game.com/legal/eula). Everything in Hunting Game except your own content (the software, design, name and artwork) belongs to us or our licensors.

If you send us an idea, we may use it without owing you anything.

## 15. Law, courts and disputes

**Talk to us first.** Most problems are solved by emailing contact@hunting-game.com.

**Out-of-court resolution.** If you are a consumer and we cannot agree, you can go to the Belgian Consumer Mediation Service, free of charge:

> **Consumentenombudsdienst / Service de Médiation pour le Consommateur**
> North Gate II, Koning Albert II-laan 8 bus 1, 1000 Brussels, Belgium
> +32 2 702 52 20 — contact@consumentenombudsdienst.be — [consumentenombudsdienst.be](https://consumentenombudsdienst.be)

We will take part in good faith. For a dispute about a moderation decision you can also use an out-of-court dispute settlement body certified under the EU Digital Services Act.

**Governing law.** Belgian law applies. **If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you live.**

**Courts.** If you are a consumer living in the EU, the EEA, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, you can sue us in the courts where you live or in Belgium, and we can only sue you where you live. Otherwise the Belgian courts decide, unless the law where you live gives you a right to go to court there. If you are not a consumer, the Belgian courts have exclusive jurisdiction.

## 16. Everything else

If part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies.

If we do not enforce something straight away, we can still enforce it later.

You may not transfer your account or these terms to anyone else. We may transfer ours if Hunting Game is sold or reorganised; we tell you first, and if it leaves you worse off you may close your account and get back what you paid for unused Pro time.

These terms, the Privacy Policy, the Community Guidelines and the EULA are the whole agreement between us about Hunting Game. This does not take away anything we told you about Hunting Game on our website or store page, or any right the law gives you.

These terms are written in English. If anything in them is unclear, the meaning most favourable to you as a consumer applies.
